Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements. Final savings depend on supplier confirmation, product type and order value.
This page coordinates comparable factory quotations that buyers often search as plasma cutting machine distributor or plasma cutting machine manufacturer routes. We align quote assumptions, list included and excluded items, and ask who supplies height control, extraction and the torch-motion interface. Plasma Cutting Machine Sourcing compares those answers; we do not sell from stock or act as a brand-appointed reseller.
Service stage and responsibilities
| Decision point | Evidence or question |
|---|---|
| Supplier shortlist: Design input | Collect the same package for every bidder: metal grade, thickness distribution, hole and corner features, destination, three-phase supply, compressed air demand, footprint and whether extraction is in scope. Name whether the RFQ is a plasma power source or a complete CNC table. Ask which assumptions must appear on a plasma cutting machine distributor quotation: cut current in amperes, recommended cutting thickness in millimetres, and whether the nesting licence sits in the base machine price. |
| Supplier answer | Each factory should split the offer into machine, torch, height control, extraction, controls cabinet, installation, training, spare parts and freight. They should state how a representative nest is counted in a trial: pierce count, programmed speed, gas and whether consumable changes sit inside the clock. Nominal travel speed without a buyer plate is not a validated output. Positioning tolerance of the gantry and cycle time across the nest belong in the same answer so later SAT language is not invented on the floor. |
| Open deviation | Typical gaps: one bidder prices a source while another prices a complete table; one includes torch-height control and extraction while another treats them as free-issue; one FAT uses mild steel while your production mix includes stainless. Record those deviations before ranking totals. Do not treat a handheld recommended-cutting figure as CNC-table performance. |
| Dimension | Buyer records | Supplier must confirm | Common mismatch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Throughput basis | Grade, thickness, nest features | Cut quality and cycle time on that nest | Brochure travel speed used as plant output |
| Scope split | Source only or complete table | Who supplies height control, extraction, motion | Source price compared with installed table |
| Changeover tooling | Consumable families and extra processes | Which nozzles and leads are included | Only the trial plate is tooled |
| Site and support | Footprint, connected load, training language | Installation, commissioning, spare parts list | Ex-works machine compared with installed rival |
Read recommended cutting versus occasional severance and equipment inquiry options before you freeze the bidder list. Continue with an RFQ when the assumption set is stable enough to compare.
